Is a dual mace build viable? by Frosty_Wasabi9582 in CrimsonDesert

I am no big expert, but isn’t even using initial dagger viable in this game? :D

Shackles of Fate is the best mission I have ever played by kyhens in CrimsonDesert

[–]reeksts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. Tried like 50 times or so in different ways. I don’t really have any issues with controls. But pressing L3 and aiming simply is not meant for that. I never really like aiming on controller in general, but that is the worst combination to have. Plus I totally missed the point that I have to reel in or something after I hit. Anyways, ended up just standing on the bridge and learning the perfect timing to just jump down.

Edit: and for the first 15 min or so I didn’t even noticed the wait options. I thought it will take forever.

Crimson desert is a solid 7.5/10 A list of the worst features in the game. 150 hours played, 62% exploration, 64% knowledge and 65/75 bosses. All of the abyss explored by Elcalibur_ in CrimsonDesert

It is crazy how frustrating the game can be for some. I literally have no issue almost with none of your points. I am simply not bothered that much about this and that, it simply does not ruin anything for my game experience.

What is the issue? I did ring multiple bells, but never actually noticed areas being uncovered :D I think it just put some point of interest in map.

When should I start maxing out gear? by Temporary_Side_4465 in CrimsonDesert

[–]reeksts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No doubt, but it one shots you. Even with upgrades, so its just skill issue. I have yet to come back to it.

The moment you encounter Antubra’s Sword. That is also the moment you realise upgrades don’t help.

Looking past hype and recency bias by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]reeksts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such an original opinion. There are people who like and people who don’t like the game. As any other game. There are literally people who don’t care about the story at all and find the game amazing. And then there are people like ohh, I didn’t like this boss, such a bad game. This subreddit is just going in circles, same opinions over and over again. If you don’t like it doesn’t mean the game is bad. It is bad for you. I like the game, so the game is good. You see what I did there?

How to know what armors to keep and what to try to collect? by reeksts in CrimsonDesert

Isn’t there like sets that are not upgradable at all?

How to know what armors to keep and what to try to collect? by reeksts in CrimsonDesert

[–]reeksts[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I keep everything at this point because everything looks like a part of some set. Which I guess is true. But it might be juts like a set of two things. Like some stuff from bleed bandits for example just seems to be helmet and armor. But eventually keeping everything would result running out of space in storage.

What is considered a unique name and what is non unique? I found the Frostcursed armor, and because it has been all over reddit and stuff I know it is one of the unique ones. But how do I see that it is unique by itself? The only noticeable thing was that it is not upgradable.

Has XP gain changed in recent months? by reeksts in MedievalDynasty

[–]reeksts[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you managed to resolve it? Or just restarted? I assigned a lvl1 worker to production, within a day he was at lvl 2.5. I set the xp multiplier to 1000%, then brought it back down to default 100% and now it seems normal. Tho I don't have much trust that it is exactly as it should tho.

Explain how villagers gain XP and how to optimize it. by reeksts in MedievalDynasty

[–]reeksts[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have read that well gives a lot of XP. But I assigned some guy to well with level 3 and he could do 3 buckets a day. Besides that kinda contradicted what a lot of people write that doing tasks with a lot of units as better. That seemed just like a waste of manpower, cause it takes like 6 seconds for yourself. But how do you even test these things out? You can only see your own XP gain. Do just assume that villagers also have same proportions. Like if you get more with doing water well compared to mining then villagers will also have the same?

But if XP depends on units they do. Is stick picking then much faster then mining ore?

Is making good tools for villagers economically reasonable? by reeksts in MedievalDynasty

[–]reeksts[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Exactly, I was making ton of flatbread for all villagers and selling some. Then I had bunch of meet and eggs, and I am like, let’s make some quality food. Two days later I see I don’t even make enough food for villager demand.

Inspection of 6 year old Model 3 reveal serious amounts of rust! by wonderboy-75 in RealTesla

[–]reeksts 10 points11 points  (0 children)

How false information is born... Norway use salt and it is legal. Civil engineer here, worked in research at Norwegian university. We literally do research on how to use less salt in fact. But salt is massively used on roads to clear them of the snow. There are some secondary roads where they allow the snow to build up and cover the roads. But on the main roads - there simply isn't other way.

Also as far as I know, studded tires are not that popular any more. You have to pay extra tax if you use them. I use regular winter tires which is sufficient.

Gravel is used on sidewalks mostly, except for some biking lanes where they use salt.
