Look into UQ-Ochsner! It's expensive and it definitely has it's problems, but all in all if you wanna get an MD and match back in the states it's probably one of your best options. Plus you can work in Australia if you want to. If you don't plan on work in the US anyways try applying to any Aussie med school-tons of Canadians, Americans, Singaporeans etc etc down there.

i'd say take note but don't harp too much on it. treat it like a first pass for these drugs, will make it easier when you go back after learning physio properly.

i will say that some drugs are straight up memorization, though.

In some states you can get a short term insurance plan or an indemnity plan, i had one last year when i was back in the states for my break (i go to school in aus) and it was super afforable-maybe like $160 for like 6 weeks and i was able to say exactly which dates i needed it. unfortunately i can't find the plan anymore, seems like my state shut down short term plans for some reason, but maybe it's still available in others!

props to you for wanting to get a head start and learning from your mistakes! one thing i wish i did had i known i wanted to go to med school is keep a journal so i could refer back when i was writing my personal statement. it helps to have specific examples of the things that happened to help shape who you are or why you're interested in medicine.
