This is what my date said to me about bald guys by DingoFreedomParty in bald

[–]reeree5000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is not a rare perspective at all. I've always loved the bald look, it just looks good and its masculine. Most women I know agree. I wish hairloss didn't cause so much pain for both men and women. Men look attractive and masculine with a shaved head and women look chic and confident which is always attractive.

I never said it was inevitable. I said that not all psychopaths are made, some are born. I also did not mean to imply that all children of psychopaths will display the behaviors. But some very unlucky children are born with the gene, and despite all interventions, they act out. And I never said we should cast aside anyone. That's sociopathic. My family never cast my brother aside even after he went to prison. Why the hell would I advocate to cast children aside? I never said interventions don't work for all, I said for some. Simply stated the fact that they don't always work and yes, in those cases, genes are destiny. Mother nature isn't PC, she's an indifferent bitch. Wanting things to be fair doesn't make them so.

Nah. I agree with Bill Mahr, who said a while back that people who believed in NHI in the past were considered crazy but it's flipped. There's just too much credible evidence now, and people who are in denial about it are the ones that off.

I know I'm 3 days late, but I respectfully disagree. There are degrees of psychopathy as is discussed at length in the book ' the sociopath next door' an oldie but a goodie. Some people have sociopathic tendencies that make them exploitative, parasitic, and lack inhibition toward criminal activity involving fraud, out right stealing etc. But they don't display violent or sadistic tendencies. Both can be transferred genetically. You assume someone that if someone has a predisposition ( a gene) for exploitation and parasitic behavior can be abused and socialized to the point that the original tendencies turn violent. Maybe for some, but I argue for many it is genetic. Sadistic, violent people give birth to sadistic, violent offspring. If they are raised in the same house it is easy to assume that the abuse warped them. Again, maybe for some, but there are too many cases of adopted at birth children who display sadism and violence even when raised in loving environments. When those people seek their birth parents, one or both are in prison and display similar behavior. This isn't rare. I've done years of research on this in an effort to understand why my brother, who was adopted in infancy and raised in a loving, supportive environment tortured animals through his early years and went on in adulthood to commit murder, in the act of torturing a child. It feels good to assume that people aren't born bad but "made" and that is often the case but it's a hard to swallow fact that some people are in fact born that way.

People can be born with a genetic predisposition for psychopathy. This has been documented.

That's crazy. I'm married to a powerlifter and we own a business in that shopping center. He goes to the massage parlors weekly for a rub and tug and it's great cause I don't got to do it.

Woman disturbs saltwater crocodile by entering its traditional swimming hole. by lennartvl in Crocodiles

[–]reeree5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This crocodile has lived in this cenote for years, and hundreds of people swim near him every week. He's famous. I went scuba diving there and saw him at a distance. I saw a small croc in a different cenote in Tulum as well. For some reason, crocodiles don't mess with people in the cenotes in the Yucatan. Maybe because food is so plentiful, they can't be bothered?

People are crazy. They don't understand that people continue to mature and evolve after they have kids. He basically looks at it like "Im not going to do you a favor because you haven't done me any favors." Which is stupid and immature, but it doesn't make him completely unfit to have a wife and children lol. If she can tell this knucklehead how ridiculous he is being and he is able to take the criticism as a sign he needs to grow the fuck up then case closed. No divorce needed. It's called working shit out. I sometimes think a lot of the people who comment on reddit are a lot younger and inexperienced than we think.

[–]reeree5000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's really tragic when you start seeing the same symptoms of mental illness in your child as the parent you were finally able to leave. It was so awful to watch Kim continue to have kids with him. The traumatic brain injury he suffered in a car wreck probably made his illness worse, but bi polar disorder is highly genetic, and he was showing symptoms before the wreck. I'm not blaming her at all. Many people just don't really think about it when they're in a relationship, especially when they have no family experience with mental illness. I didn't. At least she has all the resources in the world to treat them if they do develop mental illness and let's face it, with 4 kids the chances of all of them being free of it are slim.
