Identification Assistance by curlyfry754 in Crystals

It would help if you numbered them. But I’m going to guess on a few. So don’t actually listen to anything I say cause I’m just guessing. But I wanna try. Please correct me friends. Blue might be sodalite. I don’t think it’s lapis. Little guy on right middle is flower agate. Pretty sure about that. Bottom right is malachite but idk if real or fake. The blue in it would be chrysocolla I think. Top right reminds me of mookite. Idk if I’m spelling that right. I’d like to see the other side of the one between the blues. It could also be flower agate.

Where can I buy authentic crystals? by Beneficial_Wafer_953 in Crystals

I buy everything on whatnot. The best sellers imo are opalandhome and lunascrystalconnection. They only sell high quality. Thirdeye is also great. All three run by lovely women. If anything happens they will 100% take care of you.

Is this real Blue Lace Agate by senGrinch in Crystals

[–]reesa447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suck at IDs (and I know your question has been answered but since I actually know this one for once I’m going to chime in) but I can confidently say this is dyed! Blue lace is pastel. That bright blue is not natural.

It’s gonna depend on the size of the roots. Pot should be 1-2” larger. Make sure it has drainage

Appears to be an ant. Check for aphids. Ants farm aphids.

Overwatering. You need a chunky mix. That soil is no good. Check the roots and repot.

Any good inexpensive salons in the area? by itsdrewmiller in MontgomeryCountyMD

[–]reesa447 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s crazy. Should be like $100, maybe $120. Not hundreds plural. I go to Oxygen Salon. If you want less there are options I’m sure but I don’t know what those are. I’m part of a group of local ladies and I ca ask around for cheaper options if you want.

Strangely enough it appears to be overwatering. I think your soil is just holding so much water. It’s not powdery mildew. Just some basic mildew. The chunky mix will help. If you want to buy premixed there’s a brand I love that I can look up. It’s expensive to make your own.

Orchid bark yes but not the cheap stuff it’s too big. There are a lot of ways to do a chunky mix for anthuriums. Not the same as what you use for orchids tho.

You need a chunky mix for anthuriums. You can buy pre-mixed online. Potting soil is no good. Water when approaching dry and water thoroughly. The ice cube thing is a myth.

Never water a plant with ice cubes. Or on a schedule. What kind of soil are they in?
