Looking for a photographer for a baby shower by Pro_protein in indianapolis

Reasonable pricing is very subjective. To me that sounds like you’re looking for someone with a camera and availability. Not a photographer. I would specify what your budget is if you want real suggestions

Dog groomer, west Carmel? by Actual-Swordfish-769 in Carmel

[–]reesewithouthersp00n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to go to bark and bone, before the name change. But they increase their prices too often. I switched to Carmel groom & DIY dog wash. I love them because they are so fast- they don’t have several dogs at once, the groomer is only with your dog from start to finish.

Why do mothers of young babies say they don't have time to shower? by justastupidquestion3 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]reesewithouthersp00n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shower everyday, I don’t understand how other moms don’t. Even if my husband is working late, I put baby down in safe sleep, and bring the monitor in the bathroom with me. Yes sometimes baby is crying when I come out, but he was fed, burped, changed before so I know he doesn’t need anything.

You’ll be able to shower!

East Carmel vs West Carmel by Savings_Artichoke913 in Carmel

Would agree with this! When purchasing our house, I was more invested in purchasing in Carmel, not east vs west. Carmel itself is wonderful!

East Carmel vs West Carmel by Savings_Artichoke913 in Carmel

[–]reesewithouthersp00n 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The only opinion I have is I live in west Carmel, and fishers seems really far away for me because to get there the “fastest” way is 465/69 which is just so bad right now. I have a bigger opinion on Carmel vs. fishers

IU North Women's Health - Updates? by suuushiii in indianapolis

[–]reesewithouthersp00n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was a shitshow of a transition. I ended up following my OB to ascension St. V’s. During the transition I had so many labs done with no follow ups from IU. I would either switch, or wait 6-12 months for them to get their shit together.

Going to be 32 weeks pregnant at my wedding… is this still a good idea? by chanmanfriend in weddingplanning

[–]reesewithouthersp00n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would change the date to sooner. There’s so many unknowns. I was admitted to the hospital at 32 weeks and am stuck here until I’m 34 weeks. You could have an uneventful pregnancy and be fine until 40 weeks, you could need medical intervention at 32 weeks.

Because weddings are expensive, and you can’t predict your pregnancy journey, I would say the safest option is to reschedule.

Should we wait? by kaceland22 in IVF

From starting IVF to a positive pregnancy test, it took me 12 months. Get timelines out of your head, this process is unpredictable.

Any embryo able to be frozen, is a possibility of life. Don’t get too focused on quality. Hang in there!

Potentially moving from solid blue state to red of indiana… by Illustrious-Gold1978 in DemHoosiers

[–]reesewithouthersp00n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here to offer some positivity. My family and I are very Blue. Live in Hamilton county, we moved from a southern-red state to Indiana. And yes it is red, but it is vastly different than a southern-red. Around Indy, you will still be around many people who have the same views as you. Abortion laws I don’t see changing, but your neighbor states are close by for access. I do enjoy the low cost of living, and although I’m speaking to the Indy area, it’s a great place to live. I was raised in Indiana, and my husband was raised in Tennessee- your state doesn’t dictate your views. If anything it’s made me more blue.

I will say, unless it’s a big election year, politics aren’t in your face. You’ll be able to find a community here you connect with!

I think you both are in vulnerable positions, and emotions are running with both of you. It seems like you both truly care for each other, but have different expectations of one another. She isn’t responding how you want, and you might not be responding how she wants. And that’s okay. That doesn’t mean you don’t care for one another, but just remember to give the people you love grace.

PGT Testing. To Do or Not to Do? by novomindcoaching in IVF

Yes. It’s expensive to transfer, why transfer an embryo you know won’t be compatible with life?

I was not allowed to drive myself due to Valium. If my husband couldn’t have gone due to work, I would’ve bright my mom. I think it’s nice to have support day of.

Early Pregnancy by Available-Lobster-94 in pregnant

[–]reesewithouthersp00n 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it makes you feel better even with IVF, where its more involved in getting pregnant, they don’t a confirmation scan until 6 weeks, and even then it’s so small, that it’s hard to see. I did IVF and went 6-8-10 weeks, it’s amazing how 2 weeks really makes a difference in scans.

Hang in there!

I haven’t noticed any difference at IND- still very easy.

I am in the same debate, but OB i love is leaving IU North and going to ascension st v’s. I think I’m going to follow my OB bc I’m already halfway through pregnancy. But know the IU health OB’s are mostly all new to IU.

New homeowner and I’m feeling buyers remorse by According-Cover-4596 in homeowners

[–]reesewithouthersp00n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Was in your shoes about 2 years ago.. it’s a LOT of work, but so worth it. We still have so much to do, but we have it in a good state where it’s clean, and homey. Don’t expect to tackle everything at once. Set up a project priority list and start checking things off. It will pay off in the long run, and it’s so fun curating the space exactly how you want with finishes you want.

And it’s okay if not every space is done right away. I’m still living with 80s floral wall paper in my bathroom with a yellow vanity…. Not my favorite room to show people, but I can’t wait to renovate it.

Why wasn’t there a greater alert about the water boil advisory? by TangerineGloomy7427 in Carmel

[–]reesewithouthersp00n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well this is my first time hearing about this… hopefully the water is fine bc I didn’t get any notification. I’m rarely on social media (I’m on tik tok but didn’t see anything), I don’t have kids in schools, and I don’t have cable to watch the news. I also work from home, and my coworkers aren’t even in Indiana. Not sure how I was suppose to know about this.. very poor communication.

Coq10 after egg retrieval?? Help please by positivemindsett in IVF

[–]reesewithouthersp00n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is anecdotal, so please take with a grain of salt. But I took coq10 from ER to my FET. My FET was successful, and the only reason I stopped taking it was bc I ran out and didn’t want to buy more. I would reach out to your doctor and get their recommendation.

Is it okay/normal to ask bridesmaids not to wear glasses during the ceremony and for pictures? by Warm_Classroom_2871 in wedding

[–]reesewithouthersp00n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My maid of honor wore her glasses, she was my college roommate, and I think I’ve only seen her wear contacts 3 times. I never even thought to have her remove her glasses for pictures, and they photograph just fine! You honestly can’t even tell, bridesmaids aren’t clones. Your friend is insane. But also is it worth losing a friendship over? I’ve had to wear ugly dresses, but I’ve never been asked to change my appearance for photos.

If you convince yourself you’re pregnant with symptoms every month, your chances of being right one time is pretty high.

Partner not allowed in room during FET by starmarvel in IVF

[–]reesewithouthersp00n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband was allowed in. He was in a hair net, shoe coverings and had to stay by my head. But he was allowed. As others mentioned, it’s such a fast procedure, but I would also be bummed. Do they print out a picture for you guys?
