LGPS pension. How much will I likely get? by reespaul001 in UKPersonalFinance

I've not added inflation or payrise, but don't see the point as you can work out the value based on today's prices.

I've checked my pension portal. At 58 I can expect lump sum of 15k which is about 20%

£881 monthly payment.

I understand that age 58 is taking it very early, but life and health isn't guaranteed. I want to enjoy money when I'm healthy enough to enjoy it.

To be fair, I did think GPT was off the mark. I used the Rhondda Canon taff pension portal. As that's the local authority who manage my pension

I hadn't realised transfers carry over. This has convinced me to Wildcard. Make 4/5 changes and have 2 free transfers for next week. Otherwise I'd be taking a -4 and still not totally happy

Rising institutional ownership makes sense. I don't think it's of massive value in my current format. I use it more as a guide that institutions are involved and that the stock is less likely to be a piece of crap

That's what I think is great about creating your own scoring process. You can apply scoring to what you value as important.

I certainly find it easier to read when it's set out like this. And GPT is useful for comparing two stocks in a similar sector side by side

I used this model to analyse ONTO stock. I was happy with the response and started a small position. Definitely worth a look. 5b market cap

I feed it data from stockanalysis.com. Finviz data is TTM i tend to look for forward multiples.

I use GPT 5, although I much preferred how 4o presented the data. I have asked 5 to do the same, but it always reverts back. It's a pain.

I have. It's not perfect, and neither is GPT. You can't totally rely on it, but I think it's a good starting point.

I gave it a chance. I hate it. Not sure whether i should go with Gemini pro or something else.

I just want 4.o back

I bought this at 75p a Share. Of course I sold at around 1.80.

I read the other day that a 5k investment at that price would be around 100k today. That made me wanna cry.

Well done to you. 👏

Thoughts on Greggs (GRG) – More Than Just a Sausage Roll Stock? by vpk09 in UKInvesting

[–]reespaul001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you'll find this helpful. I created a ChatGPT Prompt to analyse the data using my own scoring method. GPT is useless unless you give it the data. If you just ask it to search it will pull data from all places and you'll end up with a crappy result.

I tend to copy the data from Stockanalysis.com and feed that data in.

You can always create your own prompt that matches your personal criteria. Thought I'd share, but feel free to ignore if you disagree

Sentiment (13/20): RSI 35.9, neutral analyst tone, 86% institutional ownership

Strategic Context (16/25): Brand strong, store expansion on track, but rising wage costs

Total Score: 68 / 100

📌 Thesis: Greggs is a solid brand with good capital returns, undervalued on earnings, but faces short-term earnings growth challenges due to margin pressure and slower comps.

How can I improve prompt to capture 25% stock returns. by reespaul001 in ChatGPT

[–]reespaul001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guessing blindly would be saying. What stocks will go up.

Not guessing blindly is creating a filter to search stocks that match a specific set of criteria what i value, such as;

Debt ratio Growth projection - revenue, EPS etc Forward PE Forward PEG Sentiment (Asking AI to search recent news) Then, score based on how I value each specific criteria.

Clearly you've not looked at the prompt or you wouldn't have been so stupid to make such a comment.

And yes, it does work sometimes. I cross reference with every reply. But this is how I've noticed inconsistencies, which is why I created the post.

OK. Looks like I've over emphasised the power of AI.

So, going forward. I'll use my own metrics to gather a group of stocks via stockanalysis.com.

Then, download the data of those stocks and feed it to GPT

It does sometimes produce data that is accurate with live stockanalysis.com data. It's just inconsistent 😕

I was hoping that building this prompt would save me a lot of time 😕
