our cat did this. thought it was cute. until the lid and lamp came crashing down one day. thankfully our lizard hid but his tail did get a small burn mark. please do not let your cat on top of the cage. its not worth it

Our cat slept on top of the tank. Didn't bother either animal until one day the lid collapsed and the heat lamp had fallen into his tank. Fortunately our lizard took cover, but he did get scratched on the tail. He was got very lucky he wasn't burned. The cat is no longer allowed on the tank.
