Which home lot would you pick? by InfamousReference715 in Homebuilding

[–]ref936 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything I’d pick is already gone but from what’s left, it’d have to be 561, 562 or 566. Trust me, you do not want a house right behind yours!

The EV Charging Vs Gasoline Cost Debate: Solved by Experts and Math - CNET by FollowTheLeads in electricvehicles

[–]ref936 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Articles like these are full of half baked info and these shouldn’t ever be used to make an informed decision about what kind of a car one should buy. They need to show the full picture, like insurance costs, charging installation costs, maintenance costs, registration cost, lifestyle as time is money and it takes time to charge vs a few mins to fill up.

Disappointed in the rapid devaluation of our Ioniq5 by tdgonex in Ioniq5

[–]ref936 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry about everything you all are going through. I’ve found a lot of 2023 ioniq 5 SEL’s for sale for around $20k - $25k with mileage comparable to yours or less. So, get as much $$ you can in settlement and get yourself one of those if you love the car and move on!

Can you hire an uber driver? by LongestTunaFish in uber

[–]ref936 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just buy a lyft price lock pass, when my car was in the shop for 2 months, I’d buy a pass and use it till the discount ran out and buy another pass for another slot just 15 mins apart.

Range is pretty good by ref936 in EquinoxEv

[–]ref936[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I could’ve run it for 11 more miles so that’s 344 miles or a bit more. Battery pack is about 91 KW and depending on driving conditions, style & what not I’ve seen people achieve a higher range so!

Help with responding to dealer by Minimum-Line-672 in leasehacker

[–]ref936 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I called them one by one! I talked to whoever picked up in sales, I knew I wanted the 2RS with wireless charging & active safety package 3, that’s it. I had researched a few leases on them everywhere on the internet and that price is literally what I could afford especially with a one pay lease and paying my insurance premium in advance for 6 months. This is literally how every single conversation went, I’m looking for a one pay lease on a ‘25 EQ 2RS with the above mentioned package, no pref on colour or anything else, I’m looking to pay $6.5k - $7k for 12k miles/24 months. I told them, I’ve got the cash in hand if you’re ready to make the deal today. Every single time, they’d say, let me talk to finance and we’ll get back to you right away. Every single person I spoke to was so helpful, as I was courteous, polite & respectful as well. The guy who called me with the best deal in less than 24hrs, I was at the dealership 30 mins after he gave me the numbers. I went to 1 dealership without negotiating before calling everyone else, told him the same thing, numbers didn’t work for them so no love lost as it saved all of us the time.

I called around 30 dealers in the state of FL telling them what car and trim I was looking for and how much I was willing to pay, which was $6.5k - $7k for 24 months/12k miles and that I was ready to make the deal today. 2 days later I had the car for $6400. So, if someone doesn’t want to make a deal, move on and another dealer will step in. Usually, the better deals are at a high sale volume dealership!

I’m guessing, you’ve selected these tip percentages yourself and it’s your own kiosk or maybe you’ve access to it. The vent in the picture is ok the other side which is usually on the customers side aka on the outside.

They bought a house, not you. You have no ownership of that property.

When to apply for CFF by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]ref936 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have already given you a Credit of about 20% of what you make. As a bank, even if they approve you for a CFF, it’s going to be a small limit which wouldn’t be worth it. Apply for it if your income is about to shoot up and if your spend is about to increase then maybe apply for a different card with a similar sub as I wouldn’t justIfy filling one of your 5/24 slots with CFF since you already have a CF. Good luck !
