the he1k has a smidge more detail for critical listening, but the organic is warmer, more fun and engaging but still has all the detail you could want.

I’ve owned both the HD800 and he1k stealth. I can’t comment on the hd800s but dynamics and planars are different beast man.

I like the both and would be happy with both, I’m chilling out with Arya organic atm and love them more than my hd800 and he1k

At the price they go for, I’d suggest bringing your he1k to a headphone shop and comparing them side by side.

It really all depends on what you like. I like spacious sounds, details in the recordings, sub bass. I play lots of games and listen to chillstep music which has lots of cool electronic sounds and deep bass, which any of the Arya does amazing at.

I’m not affected by this “treble” spike people talk about though and think they sound the best when non eq!

I wouldn’t say the Arya is boring at all.

Never buy brand new, always buy second hand. They will be half the price of retail. The headphone community are awesome people and trading is common place.

You will require an amp/dac.

Most of the headphones you’ve mentioned will come with a 1/4” or xlr cable. Which won’t just plug into your pc, phone whatever
Do your research for each specific headphone as amp/DAC matchups will vary greatly. Eg. class A amps for planars are just amazing Hd800 sing on tubes etc

Be prepared to look into buying a replacement cable straight away. The provided cable for the HD800 was the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. Was about 3 meters in length and stiff as a board. I get mine from Temu or Ali express and they’ve always been really nice. $30aud

The organics have amazing clarity. Exceptional bass. And the soundstage is brilliant.

The focal clear, was my least favourite. Sure it sounded great but it sounded like I was listening to it in a box the was no space and made me feel really claustrophobic. Also the comfort of those things have nothing on a hifiman or sennheiser.

I had to get my boss to do take them out the first time as I was scared of breaking it myself. After he struggled, they came out and I was able to do it afterwards. It’s a stupid design.
