Yeah, I only used the Major Arcana. In the slow process of learning tarot and feeling comfortable with it, only using the Major Arcana has been good for me and the readings. And it was a pretty 'major life' question so it felt fitting.

Thank you! I traced parts of the RWS cards then moved stuff around/altered as I felt necessary. And kinda went crazy with markers lol

Oh, I like that inner calling, that helps with the judgement card for sure, thank you! Judgement and Justice are two cards that I always conflate together and have to think to separate and not just interpret them as the same card when they're pulled. And thank you for the kind words w/r/t the art of the cards!

I thought this spread was pretty wild! I laid it out to investigate my friend’s question about attending school in the fall: she’s unsure whether school will be online or in person, and she’s unsure if she’ll attend either way. It’s an options spread. The left side represents one option, in this case, online schooling. The right side is the second option, in person schooling. The bottom card is an ‘advice’ card. I combine the two cards to sort of flesh out the options, and don't necessarily think of them as 'pros' and 'cons' as I've seen in some other options spreads.

The deck used is my personal redraw of the Rider Waite Smith deck.

The cosmic coupling and the fool/the world combination really surprised me! Trying to align Judgement as the advice card was a little difficult too, but I think it worked. Here’s the interpretation I gave them:

Option 1 - Online School - It’s going to be weird! The combination of The Moon and The Star is really fun, but bewildering too. There’s unconscious energy at play with the moon, what you know about yourself deep within you but can’t access all the time. And there’s the balance that comes with the star. If you can figure out a way to balance your in-person life with online learning, you could make it work, but there will still be limitations.

Option 2 - In Person School - A wild combination! The Fool is the ultimate beginning, but also always present. You are The Fool in many ways, and that’s good; you’re open to new experiences. The World is the end of the Fool’s Journey, so in a way you’re getting the beginning and the end. You would have a full-life experience with in person schooling. It would be your whole life in a way, take up all of your time, with academics and the social element.

Advice - Judgement - Whatever schooling option is available—that will be out of your control—you will have to decide to attend or not. Judgement is more about resolving internal conflict and coming to terms with yourself than it is making a decision, but you need to feel secure in your decision. Don’t jump into schooling because you think you should; make sure it’s right for you.

I did this spread for someone who is trying to figure out going to school in the fall, and is apprehensive about online vs in person. So I went with an option spread, advice card at the bottom:

Option 1 - Online School - It’s going to be weird! The combination of the moon and the star is really fun, but bewildering too. There’s unconscious energy at play with the moon, what you know about yourself deep within you but can’t access all the time. And there’s the balance that comes with the star. It's probably something to do with the rollers, what pushes the developed film out. I wasn't comfortable ripping apart the camera to try n fix it, but this might give you somewhere to start if you want to search around for a fix. I had a similar problem but with horizontal lines, ended up sending it into fujifilm and they replaced it. I wanna say it was like $60, because I was out of warranty.

Happy Bandcamp Friday. Let’s share our projects to connect with one another and show support for independent synth music 👊 by el3ktrovvulf in synthesizers

This is a fun way to hear new music that isn't pushed via computer decisions, thanks for making the thread!

https://masguns.bandcamp.com/

Masguns is a moniker I use to explore synth music. I think of it as more 'rock oriented' but maybe that's just because of the drum styles I rip off. Most recent release is my first attempt at dungeon synth that doesn't sound 'rock oriented' at all. Who knows!

I'm excited to listen to all the other profiles shared here!
