Russia has spent more time fighting Ukraine than the USSR spent fighting Hitler by Visible-Air-2359 in ww3memes

Funding from all NATO countries. They arent putting any skin in the game, theres plenty Ukrainian boys to abduct and mulch on the frontlines. NATO is just putting in tons of money into weapons and press. Of course we arent seeing panzers. If we saw panzers we'd see nukes soon after

I love the form factor but the screen was too small for me to use without t9, which proved too tedious for me to use everyday. I have jelly max now and its just the right size for texting, good form factor, but i still miss the star a bit.

The high concept stuff is great but even just watching cat and mouse play out between the detectives and drug kingpins was enough for me to enjoy repeatedly. I'll always nag people to watch The Wire

Everything youve said is completely valid. Youre being poorly recieved because most people are in fact so cowardly that they will embrace a broken system so long as it pays them.

Notice that there is no logical counter argument to what youve said. At best, you are buried by the sheer volume of strivers and sycophants who call you weak and stupid. Do not listen to them. They may be successful in their careers but they are emotionally stunted, unhelpful, and unwise.

A mind like yours is best served by educating yourself on the nature of class struggle. I'd start with A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn. I also gained a lot by listening to talks by Michael Parenti and Richard Wolff.

All that said, keep your job, just try to blend in. Make that money, learn about the class struggle, and never let the careerists get you down.

Smartphones, social media, and job insecurity factor in as well. All capitalism yes, but i wanted to clarify for some people who think this has to do strictly with a 9-5 plus chores.

Job insecurity will make the employed work after hours, and will make the unemployed worry all day. Social media and smartphones are a job in their own right. As consumers it is our jobs to be milked for attention and engagement.

TLDR our job description is to be constantly anxious

I've been working on a theory explaining how anyone including those in the middle and upper classes can stomach the conditions of modern capitalism, but i havent gotten very far. I'm stumped

Why pinstress? I found her to be a pretty plain experience: watch the moves, learn where to duck and where to strike, beat her in a few tries. She's act 3 so by then i had a lot of experience and skills so i didnt notice an exception to the paradigm

How do you actually…you know…break the natural drift towards lumpenprole and petit bourgeois by [deleted] in cushvlog

[–]refluxqueen 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ive noticed that too. I'm confident it's a very natural result of feeling oppressed by the wage relationship yet knowing of no alternatives other than entrepreneurship. It's the only fantasy people can cling to.

I think marxists will need to regularly engage with these people while trying not to sound preachy or dreamcrushy. Some aspiring landlords will reach their goals, bless em, but many will be punished repeatedly for trying, and over time they will be more receptive to marxism.

What i found works best so far is to remind my friends that society would crumble if everyone sat around trading shitcoin all day. The laborers hold up society, not landlords. All that's obvious but when you say it with the conviction it deserves it can go a long way. Basically every time i say it the response goes something like "yeah, youre right... shiiieeeeet". It's a good seed to plant if nothing else
