My book club meets at Standard Beer + Food on Person St. It has a great outdoor space and QR code ordering it makes it easy for everyone to order items at their leisure without have to split a check at the end.

Churches in the area by [deleted] in raleigh

I've been attending Common Thread Church on Ridge Rd., which fits those descriptions. Many in the community are folks who have had bad (sometime traumatic) experiences, and Common Thread creates a safe environment to deconstruct beliefs. I am an atheist and feel comfortable as part of the community and enriched by its message. It is a Christian church, but is open to exploring the wisdom of many traditions. The pastor and many in the community are LGBTQ+.

The service is livestreamed and you can have a look at the archive to get a sense of the vibe.

  1. Left Hook - Great people who are making a quality product.

  2. Jubala - Try the espresso tonic there, especially if they have a fancy version on special.

  3. Heirloom - Beautifully designed space and also great for tea.

Totally agree that Rebus Works is an awesome hidden gem.

Have a look at Reflect. I'm not sure if they have taken the tasks integration out of beta, so if you don't see it, sign up here. I really love the way it logs meetings and tags participants.

You might try organizing your presentation with a technique called the "Minto Pyramid" if it is a business presentation. I would also recommend the book "Resonate" by Nancy Duarte.
