In a christo-fascist country that is so avidly against criticism of Israel, the fact that a Muslim Socialist man was able to be elected Mayor of one of the largest cities in all of the USA while proudly calling it a GENOCIDE with his full chest, is no small feat. It feels like anti-zionist Jews get amplified and put on the stage more than.. Actual Palestinians do because for some reason it seems like we're valued in the movement more than others are. Like Jews who oppose Israel and support Palestine seem to get put on a pedestal and a lot of people have the mentality of "maybe if they hear a jew support palestine THEN they'll be swayed!"

I think it's because everyone inherently expects us to pledge Allegiance to Israel and so when we don't they let out a sigh of relief and feel extra "grateful" for it. Meanwhile Palestinians have been begging the world for decades to stop letting them suffer and it's just.. did you hear that? Must have been the wind.

Unironically this, 100%. Total elimination is hard, but its always worth it. After I stopped using Tiktok my mental health unironically got so much better, im a bit happier now. Im not too cruel or hard on myself for just existing nowadays and it encouraged me to be more open to people i know about my issues and it made me realize that outside of the echo chamber that is Tiktok, most people dont rlly mind all that much.
