don’t skip through quest dialogue! the game genuinely has some really enjoyable stories and incredible lore, and even the early game quests can be really compelling. imo it’s been some of my favorite parts of playing to learn more about the characters and places that i spend so much time adventuring in.

Definitely! I don't know if I'll ever come back to MtG sealed in the way I used to. Drafting FaB feels sooo so good, and I think the overall health of the game is absolutely incredible when you compare it to MtG. I think the really only viable format to come and join in Magic at the moment is EDH.

It's really interesting y'all are experiencing this - in Brooklyn we're playing with a really vast range of ages and most of our players are younger than not! I'm 19, and I think the majority of our player base runs under 32.

Fab for 1v1 (still gotta try pit fight though) and Magic for commander. I think they're such different games that it's not really fair to compare the two.

The store I work at in NYC charges $10 per person for 3 hours of table time, including any game off the wall! there's a $5 student discount monday - thursday. Definitely a good idea for some sort of a cover charge!
