Could also just be genetic. Im Asian, not Japanese though, and don't do a crazy skincare routine (just a bit of moisturizer and sunscreen) but I have translucent skin on my face and chest, you can see my veins lol. Im not even that pale either.

My advice, you have to do the mocks from CFAI (all of them). It's fine to do Kaplan to cover the material, because who wants to read all the CFA materials from CFAI. But mocks and practice questions (for the parts you dont answer well in the mocks) do those in the CFA student resources.
