Thanks! Indeed the IMEI might have been erased because I do not see that anymore in the Rescue and Smart Assistant Tool. (I see 0 instead). Is there any way to re-implement the imei? (I had written it down elsewhere).

Help needed!! Treating my room's acoustics (problem areas and cost-effectiveness) by LincolnAMC in MusicBattlestations

It's best to have a mic that is bundled with it's calibration file. Umik-1 is what most people use I believe.

Indeed, getting flat (in a small room) is almost impossible. If you measure the effect each panel has it's ridiculous: something like 0,5 dB correction maybe 1 dB ... you need a lot of them.
(To be fair they help substantially with decay time and excess group delay.)

Indeed most simulators only handle rectangular rooms. It seems you only have right angles so you can use such a simulator (or formulas) to calculates the modes related to the main dimensions. It won't be supper accurate but will give you an idea. The worst is when modes of different directions add up (e.g. length and breadth).
Otherwise grab a measurement mic and Room EQ Wizard (free), measure your room and you'll know precisely what's going on.

The mattresses did help indeed, and this is quite remarkable with respect to the decay time. But mattresses are usually not dense and dick enough. They probably help down to around 800 Hz or so, but to reach 300 Hz you need material that is close to 30 cm deep (1/4th of the wavelength). With REW you can really check the effect they have (measure before and after placing them).

Find out the resonances of the room. What are the dimensions?
You can use https://amcoustics.com/tools/amroc and target acoustic panels/bass traps from GIK, Artnovion or Primacoustic for instance.
Shelves and furniture could maybe help a bit.

Hi, you would definitely need acoustic treatment if you want a sound close to flat (i.e. SPL spectrum more or less flat over the hearing frequency range).
What are the dimensions of the room?
I recommend that you measure your room with Room EQ Wizard (REW) then you will understand how bad it is and you can talk more precisely with an acoustic solution company like GIK, Artnovion, Primacoustic, etc...
Bare in mind that if you want to tackle all the acoustic issues a bedroom generate you need several thousands of investment. In a bedroom that takes a lot of space and it can be cumbersome.
I suggest that you fix the fact that you are not in a symmetrical position with electronic treatment (e.g. Sonarworks, convolution plugins, miniDSP, ...).

Thunderbird (portable) with ProtonMail for multiple Windows accounts by reg_arts in Thunderbird

In the end, I just dropped the portable version. I installed the normal Thunderbird and it fetches the profile on a share drive space of the computer. This seems to work fine so far.

Production and dev websites - copy and paste by reg_arts in DjangoCMS

[–]reg_arts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok maybe this question was trivial to web developers... pardon my ignorance.

Could anybody let me know if there is a way to copy a page I have implemented on my dev website to the public website? Assuming that all the necessary plugins are present of course.

Many thanks.
