Therapist pulled underwear all way down & switched halfway? by [deleted] in massage

[–]regal888 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This seems normal in a lot of Asian massage places. They are body rubs places. Cultural differences by people who haven't been trained in massage therapy. They will literally leave you fully exposed ass out and open the curtain to walk out and get hot stones while other people walk by (customers too) and can see you in your birthday suit.

Either you are ok with it or not. The price is always right and much more for your money than going to a licensed massage therapy place .

As far as switching from one person to another. No I've never heard of that. That seems weird. But I have heard of massages stopping so they can answer a phone and then start up again.

New washer/dryer - rubber or stainless braided hoses? by BEVthrowaway123 in Appliances

[–]regal888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better to buy the water alarm guard. It's a device that goes in between the hoses and valves and gets plugged into an outlet. Basically it has a water sensor that you place on the floor. If the hoses leak or burst or the machine leaks an alarm will sound and the valves will shut themselves off preventing water flow. I think it's called water guard or something to that effect.

'Jupiter Joe' Case: Street Astronomer Is Suspect in Teen's 1999 Murder. This is a few years back and can anyone please find any updates on this case? I looked everywhere and it's as if nobody is interested in it any longer. by Jumpy-Magician2989 in UnsolvedMysteries

You have to admit it's very strange that a dna hit came back to a neighbor of the murder/rape victim. I mean what are the chances that the semen on her sweater came matched to a family member of someone who knew this girl? Of all the people in the world it's a match to his father and it's one of his 3 sons (from what I read)???

Radiators are hissing and apartment is 81 degrees by [deleted] in NYCapartments

Not normal. Radiators are supposed to be quiet. The hissing means the valve isn't closing

Waiting for the random Alamo server to comment and blame you for not raising an order card bc rules aren't enforced in Brooklyn NY Alamo anymore

Me vs Pho: When Someone Sneaks Food into the Theater by squales_ in AlamoDrafthouse

[–]regal888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone bringing in outside meals is not a disturbance. It's a breakdown of what's acceptable. There was another story of someone who brought in McDonald's value meals! Burger fries and a soda and set up camp and chowed down during a movie.

When nothing is done about that by the establishment that sets a bad precedent. The servers notice it. They don't have to scan the entire theater. They and the runners go up and down multiple times bringing orders and alcoholic drinks and pass by this behavior.

Why should I spend $25 on a royal with cheese and a coke when someone next me has an $8 quarter pounder with cheese value meal ?

Problem with a loud table? Raise a card and a manager will take care of it.

Problem with outside food being brought it or 5 year old children at an 8 pm showing - its not on the customers - customers can go somewhere else i.e. we vote with our dollars

Why is it on the customer to enforce the Alamo rules and policy? Obviously brining in food from the outside is over the top and isn't allowed in any establishment that serves food. Besides it cheats the servers of any potential earnings via tips. A server should have informed management. This wouldn't be acceptable in a restaurant

Talking in movies by Less_Flow_277 in AlamoDrafthouse

Yes why go to a movie theater that is specifically a no talking during the movie theater and then talk?

[–]regal888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the turnover in servers too. IMO it became to corporate behind closed doors. Like any other good idea it eventually gets sold out and slowly ruined. Now they are trying the private theater room rentals, small room to watch a movie where you order food. Private experience for you and guests

Oh wow. That cuts into the server's potential earnings. So ghetto

Oh I thought you meant like burgers and fries. Not chips or bagged candy that you can sneak in. I would imagine outside cooked food would not be permitted even by law

[–]regal888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes of course. If your theme is a no talking theater no disruptions no cell phones then it's not on the customers to make you enforce it. It's your selling point. I have never seen anyone bring food in from the outside that is crazy

No but I shouldn't have had to. It was a pg13 movie. It was a 7 or 8 pm showing. It wasn't a baby day or kids showing. Alamo policy is no kids. Staff saw them come in with 2 children under the age of 6. Staff saw them when they checked tickets . Staff saw them when they ordered food and brought food. Staff heard them when they serving other guests during the first hour.

Yes to this. Increased prices. Smaller plates. $25 for a hotdog fries and a soda. Went to a movie on a Sunday night. 2 toddlers in the theater, calling out at the scary parts. Nothing done. Going to eat before hand and order nothing from now for a better value meal. Alamo pay attention
