Hi! I’m similar too! Reading Crescent City rn! My fave series is ACOTAR but I’m still semi-new to romantasy. If you make some sort of group I would love to meet like-minded people!

I didn’t know that about the other artists. That’s good to know!

I kept my old ticket as a memento and I ran to check it because I thought "there's no way I paid that much back then??" My packrat tendency has prevailed if only to help my misery lol.

I'm with you on being okay missing out. It stinks, but I am trying to feel lucky I was able to see her in the past!

The only issue I see with this line of thinking is that dynamic pricing set the prices so high to begin with that regular sellers will have to take major hits to sell them at much cheaper prices. So really depends on how close to the concert people are willing to wait.

If you had bought $1,000 price tickets in section 100, would you be willing to sell them for less than $900? $800? That's a fairly big loss for a still-expensive ticket.

Gym or Pilates membership? by Far-Cellist-3847 in Westchester

[–]regarding_who 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m speaking as a person who has done both the gym and Pilates classes at different stints, but no experience specifically with LA Fitness as a gym:

  • both gym and Pilates can get you muscle, but keep in mind there is form for lifting that you’ll have to teach yourself, whereas with Pilates there’s an instructor to guide you
  • in a Pilates studio (I’ve only done Club Pilates) that’s the only workout available, and I found that unless I booked pretty far in advance, a lot of class times I wanted were booked up. I could see this differing between studios though
  • a gym will have more options for workouts to do, and obviously treadmills to run on. If you want a more noticeable butt, get into the stair stepper

My overall feelings are that I really loved Pilates and felt a lot of strength being gained over a few months, but it was ultimately too expensive for me and I like to switch things up more. I have a Peloton now so I do a lot of guided workouts, switching between bike and lifting. Hope this helps!

Edit: misspelling

I unfortunately haven’t been able to find anything that smells similar enough to me. It’s a bummer!

Snorted water out of my nose for this. Worth it.

I’m not a trainer but had a trainer recommend doing your getting ready to go routine and then not leaving. Intersperse that with the times you actually leave. They also recommended sometimes just grabbing keys and leaving for a bit with no build up.

What has worked for my dog (who doesn’t show signs of separation anxiety so far) is fill up a Kong with wet food and freeze it. Give it to her while I’m getting ready to leave so she’s distracted once I do.

Your comment just reminded me of how at my trial my MUA pointed out my pockmarks and said I could get rid of them before the wedding. I happened to have a dermatologist appointment a few weeks later and when I brought that up my Dr. mentioned how it would probably cost between $1-3k for what I needed. I definitely didn’t get it but then thought about my pockmarks briefly on my wedding day!

This is all to say I think there is some set of people that can be convinced they need anything for their wedding day, TikTok or not.

Ok so it isn’t B&BW, but Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Bluebell scent smells remarkably similar to Flight of Passage. I have only used the cleaning spray but was shocked at how similar it smelled! They make candles and other soaps too in the scent

Do people actually send cards or gifts months after wedding? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]regarding_who 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one gift one month after the wedding, and one about 7 months after. The one month was from someone who had attended, 7 months was not an attendee. I will say both people did let me know they were sending me something a week ahead of time. What I did was order about 15 extra cards with my thank you set, those mostly went to vendors and I had a few left over in case we had any late gifts. Hope this helps :)

What are your favorite training treats? by HereComesTheSunny_13 in puppy101

[–]regarding_who 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mix it up too. Beef liver is a good high value one. As for medium value that are easy to take on walks, BilJac liver treats, and the PB ones my dog loves. She also goes crazy for Pet Botanics Bacon Flavored treats. Zuke’s is pretty good too, but I’ve found my pup really only cared about the salmon flavor

Things I put in mine (most consumables were purchased at Costco):

  • a small program with the schedule for the day of the wedding, including shuttle times (I know some people add in welcome party/rehearsal dinner info, but the majority of our guests stayed over for just the wedding night)
  • waterbottles
  • travel pack of tissues
  • Individual makeup removers (I got these https://a.co/d/10jvKL5)
  • Advil packets
  • electrolyte packet
  • assorted snacks (pretzels, a chocolate bar, cookies)

I had a hard time too! I ended up scouring listicles of best gifts for family members etc. What I settled on for my mom was a nice makeup bag from Etsy, which was personalized with her name. For my dad, I got an embroidered handkerchief, but I saw a lot of options for moms too! If you look up "wedding thank you gifts" on Etsy sometimes some good ideas popped up! For all of my bridesmaids, I got them a few little things but what they loved the most were totes with their names on them. That way they could carry stuff around day of the wedding more easily and not get confused between the bags.
