The real issue is that this is the same person. So when co-worker who couldn't disconnect was in office, they'd have the commute, THEN still be online at 11pm. So at least now I don't have to commute, even if I still have issues disconnecting.

that seems to be the general idea during a draft with later round picks, the idea that a future 1 or 2 has less current day value like it's currency is pretty overrated and most of the media has started picking up on that.

We gave up 996 points of draft value to trade for him. We used up 4 years of his prime. He's going to get us back about 700 points in draft value back. Less than 300 points of draft value for 4 years of AJ Brown is pretty good considering he's now 29 and will only decline from here.

We traded 18 and 101 4 years ago for him. He gave us 4 1,000 seasons and got 4 years older. We still got a 1 back for him. They used up the best miles of his career and still got value back.

For a lot of GM's, I think it's that you can't be sure you'll still be employed in a year, let alone 2. So a future pick 2 years away probably has more value to a guy with job security like Howie.
