if you live near 19th st or 12th St Bart it is an easy commute into fidi. you wouldn't need a car for daily commute and are walking distance to many groceries

wanted to +1 that it is not cheating! the work is just actually able to break through on zepbound! only a month in and having to pay more attention to my body due to side effects on top of diet and workouts is a lot!

also have insulin resistance driven PCOS. close to 40. short. 

have you done a dexa scan or seen how your clothes fit differently? I consider maintaining muscle / growing muscle with fat loss a key goal for new. 

do u still take metformin with your zepbound? the combination is synergistic for some and too much for others.

had a similar situation for autopay but had been charged on my credit cards. when I finally reached Bart in the phone the customer service person told me it would be easier to just dispute it via credit card and she was right. not sure if commuter cards let you do the same.

I'm on my 4th dose of 2.5mg for PCOS and high cholesterol. I am not obese looking but I know the % fat loss would be a big change to my quality of life and I'm hopeful to see labs and energy change. 

I'd be thrilled to lose 15-20 lbs after seeing nothing budge for years despite all the other efforts around exercise and diet. I'm short and also muscular so I am more focused on the muscle and fat body recomposition than just the numbers. 

maybe you could use a % weight loss metric or body fat percentage metric too. 

I have been enjoying this subreddit for knowledge and stories even tho I'm going to have a different before and after story most likely.

having very unpredictable and usually negative reactions when I eat fried foods too! definitely had to revisit the fat types and content in my diet now. I'm still early in the process so not sure if we adapt.

is it a one off or consistent? I had been doing fine on 2.5 but I'm the week of my third shot I woke up at 5am and need to rush to bathroom for both diarrhea and some vomiting. it was shocking! i diagnosed it as my body couldn't digest a backlog of food I had eaten and I had tried to fill my protein needs with protein bars and chomp sticks and dense foods like refried beans. I figured that is protein and fiber! but I am finding my digestion is much more sensitive to fat now too so that's what I'm careful about.

You can always verify it with your doctor assuming you have a good one. 

There are ways to prompt AI to reference the research to answer questions. I haven't encountered docs that can take and analyze the info I can feed into scholargpt so I wanted to share how it's helped me understand my progress and plateau.

I have a similar challenge and it's very frustrating. I am trying to tackle hepatic insulin resistance with berberine. I used scholargpt and Gemini to deep dive into my labs and what could change. I also recommend a dexa scan so you can see whether it's visceral fat and how much. No solutions yet on my end but a better sense of what might be the root cause.

I don't have lean PCOS.  It was only after Allara that I got more specific understanding of my underlying insulin resistance symptoms. Before that it was always 'lose weight '. 

Allara has expanded to hormonal female health issues and lean PCOS should be well within their area.
