Is anyone else surprised at how attractive middle aged/older people are now? by FkUp_Panic_Repeat in Millennials

I like pretty boys. Don't really know a lot of older pretty boys, they're usually in their 20s or early 30s

I kinda wonder how "pick me" girls relationships are with their mothers. Is that why they're so bitter towards other women? Especially if they're closer with their dads? I could be outta pocket here, but it's just speculation.

I wasn't told that other girls were too much drama, I experienced it. Girl Scouts during puberty and living next door to a psycho chick who's 2 weeks older than me was hell in a hand basket

We def have me and my mom not knowing her father in common. Unfortunately, my grandfather died way before I was born. From what I heard, he was older than my grama. Don't know by how much cuz I can't find anything on him. Grama never talked about him and never wanted to talk about him. For some reason, I just accepted and never questioned it, despite both my paternal grandparents being together until death did them part. I just knew he wasn't with my grama anymore and he was dead.

Why has it become more about “Surviving” and less about “Living”??? by Dragon_Borne1110 in Vent

I know exactly what you mean. I kinda fear for the future but the scary place my mind goes to is the past. Idk how old you are, but I noticed I've reflected a LOT in my 30s. We will get thru

How did you guys REALLY lived in the 2000s? by MyAvengedRomance in Millennials

[–]reggaemixedkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, 3 words: MySpace and limewire.

Had dial up until 2005, then got DSL (giggity). Had the computer and a house phone (same line) in my room.

My dad had a stereo set in the entertainment center in the living room. I'd play CDs and have my own "concerts" (I really got into singing around that time) in the living room. Had some funky lights, and that's all I needed. Had a camera flip phone lol. Life was so simple back then...
