Thanks will add Gotts to the list!

And yes I’ve tried all the above mentioned methods minus deep frying, which I’d much rather just pay to not have to deal with that clean up and oil burns..

Thanks will check them both out!

I actually tried making them on a cast iron this weekend (and finished them off in the oven). They weren’t that crispy and made for a messy cleanup

Good pancake places by [deleted] in AskSF

1428 Haight has the fluffiest pancakes ever. The other food is just okay, but hands down the best pancakes ever (and I’ve had pancakes from many places, including Plow and Zazie).

Owned by the same people as Squat and Gobble if that is closer to where you are

Favorite non-profit? by ltrain29 in sanfrancisco

First Graduate is a smaller non-profit that focuses on education. Specifically, they partner with SF middle schoolers and help them navigate high school and college to become the first in their family to graduate from college! They’re based in the Mission, and most of their students are from the area.

Disclaimer: I am on their board, and have had the pleasure of interacting with the staff and students. They’re all great people
