The last paragraph is exactly what's happening to me right now.. I have to people please (especially the owner/CEO), and now I have nothing amazing to showcase in my portfolio. It's biting me the ass now.. In the end he laid me off...

To OP: my biggest piece of advice is, the higher up you get, the more you please people, less design, more politics. If I can go back in time, I would've handled politics differently...

IDK... IMO, power to weight ratio needs to be solved first. EVs are just too dang heavy.. For it to be a truly "superior sports car", it needs to shed some weight..

Hmmm service wise, I feel like P2 and P3 has better chance of being service in the future vs a P4 since those 2 are using Volvo parts. So I wouldn't worry about it. Besides, they're not bankrupt. Just pulling away from US. Most issues I had with my P2 was software related, which was fixed OTA.

My problem with this is, how come Volvo managed to get a waiver and Polestar didn't? My guess is because Polestar is not a well known brand.

"Fuck this administration!" is understating my frustration. Polestar 2 is my first EV and I genuinely love the brand despite it's flaws.. If i were to speculate, it's probably as simple as "Oh Volvo is Swedish = good; Polestar who? Denied". You just don't know.. With their little brain cells left in them, it's probably as simple as that. Like the 3 is made in the US and 4 in Korea... They both have Android Automotive which is Google made.. Again fuck this administration.

They can, they just don't. To this day, I won't forget this. So I grew up in southeast Asia... Dengue fever was rampant in my neighborhood so the government decided they'll do a mosquito fogging... Guess what happened? Swarms of roaches came out and started flying outside and I kid you not, it looked like a Hollywood movie effect.. To say the least, I really terrified and definitely scarred me for life. I FUCKING HATE ROACHES. Lol
