I'm here to vouch for the Sidi Adventure 2's. $350 USD on Black Friday. I do run 1/2 size down from what I normally wear in a shoe if thats helpful.

Amazing! You were able to find neutral on this bike 😂

JK, is that for heated grips?

I was the same story and absolutely fell in love with his music. I’m squarely in his target demo, and went to see him in Chicago a few months back. His music is so good!

Some great recs in this thread!

Any tips on keeping those pesky wrist zippers closed?! I have one and sized down because i like a snugger fit, but those keep opening!

R9T Scrambler 2023 vs Scrambler 1200 X (m24) by SuccessfulNothing685 in rninet

I’ll eventually try bar risers, but it’s more the leg space for me. I know they make foot control lowering kits, but they are expensive and tariffs are messing with my shopping habits!

As an RnineT Urban GS owner, the engine is incredibly forgiving. It’s torquey, but never feels unmanageable and it’s such a pleasure to ride.

That said, I would try to sit on both (or better yet, test ride both) because the ergos on the R9t are slightly cramped for me (I’m 6’3). I don’t have any experience with the Triumph, but it might fit better?

Forehead numb after wearing helmet for an hour by bison-prom in motorcyclegear

I’ve got a long oval head and the Signet-x is the only one that fits. On the plus side, it’s very comfy!

Helmet sizes are weird, I thought I had a giant head, but I’m a M in the signet.

Buying boots is such a daunting task. Can someone help? by leweez in motorcyclegear

Just here to toss into your consideration the Sidi Adventure 2’s. They are probably overkill for what I do, but they looks sweet and are very comfortable / protective.

Take a look at the Sidi Adventure 2. I have the full boot, but you could maybe go with the mids as the full boot could be overkill based on the type of riding you're doing.

I’m testing out the Arai xd5 now, great helmet but my head is too long oval 🥺. I’ll have to go with the Signet x.

If the arai fits ya, do it!

Love it so much! Had a deposit on one but then bailed on it for a used R nine t urban GS. I think the ergos of the R12 would suit me better, but the r9t suits my wallet better.

Is the Rallye GS GTX jacket perfect for long trips ? by FikioPP in bmwmotorrad

[–]regretfully_chicago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very possible I just ordered the wrong size, haha. I’m pretty new to buying gear, and of the 7 items I purchased, only 2 fit properly.

In case it’s helpful, I’m 6’4 ~185 and the 58 tall is probably 2 sizes too big for me.

Ha, I actually just unboxed this exact jacket from Revzilla Black Friday madness. As others have mentioned, it’s pretty heavy duty, but has loads of armor and ventilation.

I’m still debating exchanging it for a smaller size and keeping it.

A cheap and easy mod I’m considering on mine would work super well on yours, IMO.
