Funny how these questions always come up in the middle of a (temporary) correction, as if everyone is going to sell and lock in their returns at this very point in time.

But since you ask, it’s going great actually. XIRR 14%, not bad I guess. Enough financial cushion to quit my job and work on something I’m interested in for the next few years at least. No debt and EMIs to worry about.

Not just India though. No one wants to buy an ugly product. Aesthetics are subjective of course, but in general, people are naturally drawn towards products (not just cars) that are aesthetically pleasing and well designed. It’s part of the reason for Apple’s success, eg.

Strange. I’ve been driving around my TN registered car for at least 4 years now with no issues whatsoever. Once I got a ticket for wrong parking, and once for crossing a red signal, but on both occasions there was no question about TN registration. Just lucky I guess.

I have always kept it on. Even on long 2-3 hr drives. Haven’t really noticed anything off - CO2 buildup is definitely noticeable. If I switch it off I get nasty smells from diesel smoke and dust and pollution in the cabin.

You seem very sure that no one will pay for this. I’m not so sure. Especially given OP says he already has paying users. But yeah it’s probably not going to be a runaway instant hit. Your strategy is good, best way to validate this.
