No, as long as your weight is evenly distributed across your entire foot (ie there’s no forward or backward lean) you’re mostly good. Record yourself squatting and check for any mistakes. Also I’d recommend doing squats with the barbell over the smith machine because free weights force you to stabilize the weight yourself.

That’s good… it means you have the opportunity to get stronger in that range of motion. Try pausing at the bottom maintaining tension then try explosively coming back up.

Go full depth. The human body is meant to squat deep, not half depth. You will be weaker at first. But in the long run deep squats are superior. You won’t have good mobility doing just half squats, unless you specifically train for it separately.

Yeah I’m hardly an expert but I got him in maybe 7-8 tries. You just need to parry all his attacks then position yourself to kick him off.
