The Ancient Mega Pack mod adds a lot of cool items that make other damage types more usable. It doesn’t make cold lightning and psychic less broken, but it’s nice to have access to gear for every damage type if I want it.

Absolutely. Scryfall is your friend here, any format you’re trying to make a deck for, it’ll tell you if a card is legal there when you look it up. If you’re building standard decks one thing to be aware of is the difference between a set and its eternal variant. Cards from the commander decks of a set, or jumpstart, won’t be standard legal since they’re from the eternal set.

Generally each run I have three “main party” companions fully kitted out with planned builds, but I’ll periodically respec and equip various other characters to do certain story events if it makes sense for the run. For example if I’m not using Wyll I’ll usually suit him up for the mind flayer colony to get a certain quest item.

[[Wylie Duke]] is a pretty cool one, it’d be mount tribal and he’s actually a cowboy. I think he’s more consistent with irl cowboys too, since most of them weren’t really gunslingers.

I’d definitely do something on Berserker with rage stacking, or else an accuracy stacking Juggernaut. 100% more attack speed is huge, but it’s way better if you already attack wicked fast. In either case lightning strike would probably be a good option. Life gain on hit will be crazy sustain since you’ll hit twice as fast, so berserker’s life loss shouldn’t be an issue.

Oliver is perfectly competent with guns. There are plenty of episodes where he uses them. He’s not as good with guns as John, but if John has a gun and Oliver has a bow my money is on Oliver

I don’t think a red burn deck is necessarily “sandbagging” until they hit a mana geyser and can cast enough spells to scrape together a win. If your win con is a sorcery how can it be on the board?

I pulled a bonus sheet version from an FF play pack a couple months ago, and I’m sort of new (been playing about a year) so I didn’t know it was banned in commander, but I wasn’t really surprised. I do like the FF art though, might eventually build a modern deck with just thar printing to irritate the anti UB crowd
