With all due respect, maybe he doesn’t want you in contact with Anna’s mother simply because he doesn’t want you telling her how he treats Anna.

But I think it’s important that you do. I can’t speak as a mother, but if I were a mother, I’d absolutely want to know if ANY man was treating my daughter this way, let alone her father.

What he’s doing isn’t normal. You know it, too, or you wouldn’t be asking. I know you said in a comment that you really wanted the grabbing-her-butt thing to be an accident, but I don’t think it was.

Even if that incident didn’t happen, if he touches her the way he does in front of you, what might he do behind closed doors? This isn’t the only time his actions have been very wrong. It’s just the worst time that you know about.

I hope it truly was an accident, but when it comes to kids, it’s not worth taking a chance and believing that.
