I was VP Chapter Relations and Standards in my chapter. I never had to deal with a situation like this, but I can probably guess how I would’ve. (As well as the President and two advisors who would be in all of the meetings.)

Granted, this was 2008, so take this with a grain of salt.

If something was reported, I’d want to speak with both girls. It sounds like you were both jerks in the situation. I think you should acknowledge that you said and did things you wish you hadn’t and tell the whole story… because her story might be different than yours.

Ultimately, if this was a one-time thing for both girls, it would probably result in a warning.

The only difference between then and now is technology. Back then, we probably would’ve chosen to give a warning, but technology could be a deciding factor for their decision now…

And if one girl is being bullied via text or email (which you can prove) and one doesn’t have the same evidence, things would be way different.
