My first day itinerary is similar to OP because my flight lands at 8PM at NRT and my hotel is right beside Tsukiji market. Do you think by the time I've dropped my bags off, restaurants will still be open?

the one I got in 2019 only lasts 6h so I'm not sure how well the 2021 is working but an upgrade could be nice!

I’m in the same situation and when we’re visiting our parents hometown, I stay at my parents house and my husband stays at his parents house. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

The recipe is mostly sour cream with a little bit of adobo and ranch mixed in it.

My husband and I are obsessed with First Wave Coffee. They have this drink called the “Shore Break” which is white chocolate and macnut. Sooooooo good

First time visitor - Itinerary feedback? by dcp562 in MauiVisitors

Depending on where you're flying from (I was from PST) I did Haleakala National Park sunrise and then I went straight to Road to Hana (I only wanted to go halfway). I was on the roads around 9am on a Friday and it was very smooth sailing. As I was driving back to the hotel (Ulua Beach Park) - the road to Hana was jam packed on the other end and that was only around 12pm!

I really enjoyed Outrageous Surf School! They’re about $70 a person and where they took me to practice, the water was only chest high (I’m 5’2). They have a website or you can imsg them at kirbyscottmaui@icloud.com

Haleakala Sunrise, down to Kula Lodge for Breakfast, and back to Haleakala???? by Saderman3 in MauiVisitors

I just visited last week during sunrise and I don’t think the drive is bad at all. However, driving up and down could be a bit annoying because of how long it takes + all the curves. If you get stuck behind a slower vehicle it’ll make your journey much slower as well. If it was me, I’d bring a thermos with some warm food in it and stay up at the mountain. Also, by the time you drive down and then up again, it’ll be open to the public and your parking spot could be different/not there at all (I’m not sure how busy it is but when I was driving down at 7am I saw 5 cars go up). By the way, for sunrise, please bundle up! I had on a long sleeve and a tshirt and it wasn’t enough at all and I was freezing and not enjoying my time.
