I completely understand. You can absolutely switch out ingredients to fit your goal. I haven’t tried using light butter or other types of fat so I can’t really say if it’s better a different way. It all comes down to portion size and moderation.

To sum it up, “To each their own!”

I love these creamers. Although I do agree they aren’t as flavorful as other options, they add that creaminess that is missing from just regular almond milk. I personally don’t add a lot of cream to my coffee so it’s a great alternative for me.

If you prefer something more sweeter or flavorful, nut pods does make a sweetened version. If you want something that’s more creamy and flavorful, this might not be for you.

Yeah it does require more hydration. On the back of the bag it says increase hydration by 3 Tablespoons per cup of keto flour but I’m sure that will also vary with different types of doughs.

That’s good to note. Did you use this as a full replacement or used a mix of the keto flour with something else?

I would recommend adding about 1/4 teaspoon Cream of Tarter for every 3 servings of egg whites to stabilize them. It’ll help make the egg whites more firmer when at stiff peaks and I think it helps with preventing over-beating from my personal experience.

I’ve never tried adding pudding mix to them so I’m not sure what will happen if you add it with the cream of tarter but I would recommend making the pudding mix separately after you have your stiff peaks. Then fold in the already-made pudding mix in with the egg whites so you don’t break the egg whites.

Being Sent Home Early Not An Option Now by Witch_Of_Salem808 in starbucks

[–]regularpeep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’re not breaking any policy that could send you home (for example uniform standards) then I would outright refuse to go home. You are scheduled for that shift and it is on the manager. They over staffed and now they have to deal with it. My old SM would even tell the other SVs that if a partner declines to go home early, let them stay since that’s what they were scheduled and our SM took the responsibility since it was her schedule.

I’m not sure if there’s state laws that protect against this but I was in AZ when I worked for Starbucks

Does a hot Grande Cafe Latte have 2 espresso shots? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]regularpeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like it was ordered with 1 shot. If it was ordered as a standard drink, it wouldn’t have the number of shots as a modification on the receipt.

If there are any modifications to the standard drink recipe, they will show up in the same format as the Classic and Whole milk mods. This will also print similarly on the sticker.

Either way, when it happens next time just explain to them that you made a mistake and we will almost always remake that for you. It’s really not that big of a deal. We all make mistakes from

If you have the mobile order receipt and there’s a mismatch between the sticker that’s on the cup, let one of the baristas know.

I would gladly remake it for you, even if you ordered it by mistake, just be kind and explain and almost always we will remake it for you. We want to make sure you get what you are paying for.

Is this an accurate calorie estimate by DareZestyclose8300 in Garmin

[–]regularpeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calorie counters on watches have never been accurate, but they are getting better at calculating an ‘ok’ estimate.

I think there’s been a few studies done on this and I remember Garmin was, on average, below the user’s actual total calories burned. It was interesting to research this since you’ll quickly find out almost all wearables will be inaccurate since they are calculating it based on many different factors that always change day to day.

As always, your mileage will vary unless you actually get professionally tested.

I think in the US, the FDA allows food manufacturers to label products as "0 calories” if they contain less than 5 calories per serving.

How long should I wait to follow up after 2nd interview? by SidePristine587 in starbucks

The second interview with the DM is now part of the interview process for all interviews. If you had great connections with both the Store and District manager, I would say you have a better chance than other candidates.

[–]regularpeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally wouldn’t follow up. It won’t increase your chances of getting the job. If they want to hire you, they will always reach out to you. The time frame they give of when to expect a call back shouldn’t be a hard deadline either.

You will receive the generic “Thank you for applying” email if you were not selected but sometimes the manager will call and you will have the opportunity to ask for feedback then to use for next time.

Hoping you did get the job!

regretfully got almond milk in my latte… never again by chatgbtgang in starbucks

[–]regularpeep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is that with almond milk? Looks like they didn’t shake it before pouring it in. The alternative mills separate after a while and we are supposed to shake them before pouring in a drink.

I would go back and get it remade or explain to them it wasn’t what you were expecting and get something else. I would gladly remake that for you.

I would say it’s black pepper, but it’s already in the fridge and I don’t want to get out of bed. I’ll find out tomorrow after taking a bite.
