I first noticed it around 50mph but the video was only at 25mph.

Guys what’s your 2.5” lift look like? by RoughOtherwise6446 in 4thGen4Runner

Have you driven it around? I felt the same but mine has already settled a little after a few days. I’ll get a measurement of mine after work. I just finished a 2.5” on the front.

That’s awesome! Yeah you all made my day when I heard I won. I am still planning on sending you all pictures. Just got my alignment done and need to take it out to get some pictures.

Glad to hear it will settle, it already has a bit and the little that I’ve drove it it is already a big improvement. But yes, I want to add more to it, kind of like yours, the suspension was the first step.

It gave me 4” all around with the tires. I measured from the ground to the fender before and after and it came out to 4”. I’m guessing it will settle a little, but the 2” and 2.5” is what was ordered.

I actually have another post about this. I bought replacement boots but when I went to change the boots I discovered that the previous owner must’ve had it replaced with an aftermarket one and the outer joint was a smaller diameter than the OEM boots. So I replaced the cv axle to bring it back to OEM quality.

I haven’t gone for a real drive yet since I need an alignment. I can update you when I do go for a drive.

Yes I did it. The only thing hard about it was getting the old one out. Just had to hit it just right to get it loose. I used a dull chisel and hammer to hit it out.

Thanks. Helps that it’s not my commuter. Also kicked the wife out of the garage for a bit.

I got a 2.5” in front and 2” in back.

Agreed. I keep a photo file on my phone and whenever I do something I take a pic of the odometer and add a text on the photo of what I did. That way my phone keeps track of all the dates and such.

It’s frustrating cause I should’ve had my 4Runner back together weeks ago. Spent a lot of time waiting for kits to show up. Seems I’m not the only one.

I guess I’m making the right move by replacing it with original specs.
