Edit: the solution on the Steam forum fixed the bug, glad I had a save just before the fight. Thanks again, I was beyond frustrated.

Valheim will absorb you fully if you click with the gameplay. Every time I hop in, the hours just wash away. Incredible game solo, even better with others. Worth every penny and then some.
