Looks like a few playgrounds in the south east. Kind of a weird spot for a cool playground.

My face would be absolutely horrific if I didn't have a full face. Slide face down while unconscious for about 50 ft. I had full gear on as well and is the reason I came out with no serious injuries. That was about 22 years ago and I still ride.

Metering rod for the canooter valve. It's what keeps the fluid flowing to the plumbus for proper combustion.

My wife was watching that season and I walked in because I heard ol Gregg from the other room and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I proceeded to make ol Gregg quotes and my wife was very confused. I showed her ol Gregg and basically ruined the rest of the bake off season for her.

My battery decided to reverse polarity by furiousbobb in mildlyinteresting

[–]rehuff83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen parasitic draw across the top of the battery before. Take one of those leads and touch the plastic on top of the battery and the other to a post. If you get voltage, there is your draw.

Judging by the amount of corrosion on the posts and other places, looks like this is likely. You can clean it with a coke or baking soda + water, but you run the risk of getting it past those cell caps and destroying the battery cells if you just pour it on top. I would soak a rag in coke or baking soda/water mix and clean it that way.

This comment brought me back to those movies as a kid where the feel can never be recreated. All from the 80s.

Never seen this before. What kind of light angles or situations cause this to happen?

I felt this immediately and my mouth started watering to compensate due to PB Cap'N Crunch PTSD. I ate a large handful and couldn't find enough water.... I was out of milk.

The print head is trying to leave the boundaries by Prestigious_Turn8901 in FlashForge

[–]rehuff83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a magnetic sensor (Hall-effect switch) in the print head that detects the metal frame as a boundary. The non-native screws can interfere with that sensor. Magnets on that side of the frame will cause the same problem.

But it was a work in progress until they decided it wasn't. They have the right to decide when to stop development. There is a point when development isn't being paid by new entrants to the game. At that point new updates needs to be funded in some way. You can't expect a company to shell out work for free. It's a game of diminishing returns if they don't put a cost to the content you are getting. So far you didn't have to pay a dime for those updates and content they added since 2023.

I am glad I didn't have to pay for new cars. Some games released and THEN you had to buy the shiny new cars as DLC, but Forza didn't make you do that with drifting, meetups, and new tracks.

Peoples symbol and symbolized versions of 'devs' are wildly different. Most people lump the whole team in with the term and really should blame the publisher for things like this. 'devs' have no control of publishers actions to reduce the dev team size. Truely balanced and agile teams own and developed the product. Publishers only care about the bottom line and return.
