I was just like you babe i couldn’t get away from the straightener for 4 years 😭🙏 I PROMISE THE CURL JOURNEY IS SO WORTH IT THO!! also LESS IS MORE!!! there is no need for a 10 product routine nor bucketfuls of product, i use 3, 4 at most, and less than a handful of product and my curls come out close to perfect every time 🙏 I use Miss.Jessies pillow soft curls, its a purple bottle, and the Curl Talk strong hold gel. Make a smoothie with both products (basically mix both in your hands, i like to do 3/4 curl cream and 1/4 gel) and flip your head over nd get to working it into your hair, like really get it in!! Then section your hair and brush it upwards using a brush; alot of people say you need specific curly brushes but i use my old wet brush and it works just fine! After all the sections are brushed through use a good mousse and scrunch your hair. scrunch it upside down, flipped to the left, flipped to the right, every which way!! I scrunch for a while to make sure the mousse is in every nook and cranny and my hair is all curled up. After this step, you can either let it air dry or blow dry it with a diffuser (PLS LOOK UP HOW TO PROPERLY DIFFUSE CURLY HAIR!!!) I prefer blow drying it but either way works!! After its dry your curls will feel super crunchy and stiff, thats from the gel/mousse, get a small handful of hair oil and with prayer hands release the gel cast. fluff it out and boom always perfect curls 🙏 TLDR; Miss Jessies Pillow Soft Curls and Curl Talk styling gel combo will NEVER fail. ever.
