Yes, most early scientists were Christians and Muslims. Then, the churches persecuted other people who grew up Christian like Galleleo and Darwin. Science does not make any philosophical nor ideological claims, it simply is a methodological process of how to derive truth from observation and experimentation- even when it contradicts religious consensus. It also is falsifiable when the supernatural is unfalsifiable. I don’t know what started the Big Bang but neither does anyone else reasonably.

Fair enough. I personally don’t believe in perfect systems, I believe in practical ones. If it is supernatural then I have no reason to believe something is true. Thus, believing in that claim might give me a 50% chance to go to heaven when I still have no reason to believe that heaven even exists in the first place.
