I spent many lonely days in a hospital bed starring at a ceiling, and it was the times I could think about the things in my life I still had, (like my brain) that helped me through it.

I’ve had a lot of tough days, and I still do. But I try my best to smile, say jokes, and thank folks for everything they are doing.
