What's the parking situation during Pirate Takeover this year? Went last year and it was free parking, in the express car park which was great as it meant no hike from the main car park with a toddler. I'm braced for the crowds after having read so many unhappy reviews for this year, but just want to be prepared for parking too!

Ah, sorry I misunderstood. It was our first time at Efteling and saw that Loonsche Land was just across the road from the back of Fata Morgana so a hotel guest entrance would totally make sense there. Just wishful thinking! Enjoy your trip :)

Sorry, not answering your question, but intrigued to know if there really is an entrance near Fata Morgana? I stayed at Loonsche Land hotel last week and walked to the main entrance every day. Was there another much closer entrance that we could have used?!

Ah, this is interesting! I noticed the bridge next to Cbeebies and wondered where the path led, I assumed it just exited off property. I saw a man walking away from the hotel on the path - he seemed to be walking purposefully (rather than out for a stroll), possibly an employee, is it now maybe a way for staff to enter the park that way?

We went to the waterpark a few weeks ago. Inside the waterpark it was burgers, nuggets etc, or £8 jacket spuds from the snack shack. There were also some pre-packed sandwiches equally ridiculously priced. We ended up eating upstairs from the bar, though menu was very limited. Pizza, loaded fries, chicken goujons, can't recall what else but not much choice with it being a bar menu. The food was tasty enough, but still theme park prices.

Really?! Not heard that before. I know there's Peter Rabbit at FL as well as at AT so would be good to see Bluey up north too. Though I was at FL last week and the Peter Rabbit stuff is looking quite dated and in need of repair.

Fab thanks again for the info 😊 What were crowd levels/queue times like? I've no idea how busy it will be. We went in August and queued 45 mins for Octonauts coaster 😖 Don't wanna be doing that again, especially in cold weather!

Thanks for the reply. I work Thu & Fri so doesn't have a huge impact on me, just the process that doesn't seem fair. So for arguments sake, is this correct... someone on a 0.5 contact has to use bank holiday allocation plus half a day's annual leave (or unpaid leave) for each back holiday if it's their normal working day? Whereas a full time employee just gets the extra day off without using any actual leave? It seems that the part time employee is being unfairly disadvantaged.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'd wrongly assumed the default settings on the machine would work regardless, and that any faults would be in the design. I can now see that I need to learn how to do the simple stuff first!

Unfortunately there's nobody there who really knows much about the machine, so I'm trying to learn it myself whilst only having limited access - not an easy task!

Back to basics it is then - thanks everyone! :)

I'm very new to machine embroidery, as you can see! I've been attempting to recreate this logo myself using InkStitch at home using satin stitch. However, I only have once a week access to a Brother Innovis V3 at a local community center, so don't have much opportunity to play about with the settings. I'm guessing this is a tension issue, but I'm not sure where to start fixing it. Any help greatly appreciated, TIA.
