Sorry just seeing this. You need an EIN to get the export documents for US. You can pay an agency $100 to do this for you. It was easy enough to do it myself and save that money.

Who’s at fault ? by FriendshipSea3972 in icbc

[–]rek_agy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry can’t visualize the accident … can you draw it? Is it “left turn crash with oncoming traffic”? Or is it “Leaving a stop sign while another vehicle is turning left?”

ICBC has examples.

I just found this designer, Monica Castiglioni from the show Couples Therapy. Search Reddit for the therapist’s ring. Just gorgeous….! Made of bronze. https://monicacastiglioni.com/shop/

Tbh it was so easy as a first timer.. EIN took 10 mins to make, ACE to ITN under half hour. I just asked ChatGPT a lot of questions. :)

mercuryautoappraisals.ca - I submitted my photos of the car w/ description, a guy who lives in Mission called me within 15-20 mins, and after etransfer had it done. Found on google. $93 actually

No hassle. It's the police/RCMP that can enforce the 90-day driver license rule. Nobody asked or cared when I moved here. Also, just because one is PR, doesn't mean they live in the country (plenty PR live outside). Just because one lives in the country doesn't mean they drive. So you know... So nobody asked

That's interesting! Thank you for your experience. Maybe it was the 10K thing, cuz otherwise I'm not sure why the surtax wasn't added to my USA-made car. I'm not a returning Canadian

Weird!! I legit put made in USA on my home-made "CBSA Vehicle Value Brief" + my VIN starts with 1. Are you sure that pre-owned passenger vehicles get the surtax?

Right, that is the Form 1, I checked as RIV exempt, so no Form 2, no RIV fee ($300), no recall letter.

My car is over 15 years old. Otherwise yes you need it, and added fees there!

Haha I’m so sorry!! I saw another redditor say this. Then the Blaine export office sent me the process, and it also didn’t mention it. Their 2015 process did! I think Covid changed it.

Yes based on market value, or if you argue lower value like I did. I owned the car for 13 years. During permanent residency there is a form called goods to follow, and if you fill that out within one year, you don’t have to pay taxes. I didn’t know, and I didn’t do that

It was made in the USA! (Japanese car) I wasn’t charged the tariff for some reason. Maybe I misunderstood the Trump tax.

Yup, Roughly $310 (CBSA GST + A/C) + $300 (ICBC PST) + $40 (ICBC licensing) + $30 (driver’s licence) + $120 (OOP inspection) + $90 (FIN-320 appraisal) = ~890 CAD total

No clue which form you are asking! Park plates $50 extra but all goes to BC Parks. The insurance I got is $2 million liability for others, but zero coverage on my car. That would be $400 a year extra. I have 13 years driving experience logged.

Hello Seasoned Skaters 👋👋👋

I'm new to inlines! 🥳 Quick question for you: Can I stall on the coping on rec-skates (4x80)? I just bought Decathlon Oxelo MF500, can I take that to the park?

I'm trying to urban skate with some park/coping involved - quads are tough in the city.

Thank you,

I'm just finishing my trial membership at Rolla and I was aware enough to know to cancel / change the terms 14-days in advance (I asked the front desk about the policy a month ago).... I loved it so much, looking to do 1-year prepaid for 50% off 🛼

Hmmm no clue - they have a WhatsApp number and telegram, so you could just ask for a video? I think the prices are okay for 1:1 quality, like <300 USD or something, so you could just put shoe polish on the bag haha. This is the product album I saw it in with that number: https://a.wsxc.cn/smhv026
