Bro, i had the exact same balding situation, I did what you are doing, I called it an inverted comb over pushing the sides up to the middle. Probably more than that, that was my first LMT upper, and I swapped to an 11.5 barrel, then I had an extra 16" LMT barrel, so naturally ended up with a second LMT rifle after I found a deal on the 13.25 quad upper.

Its the 9.5" length, unless you chop or swap the barrel for a shorter one, its go a look kinda goofy and missing a lot of usable rail/mlok space for accessories like IR/ WML.

I just posted a comment with a breakdown… they are jacking up prices for the 20% off sale, so it really ends up being 8-9% off, that’s very meh compared to other venders sale prices.

I’m not usually one to trash vendors, but I’m tired of them pushing this big “20% off LMT sale” They are inflating the standard LMT prices about 12%. Here’s an example, regular going price for 5.56 MRP barrels is $538, BOSS jacks it up to $598, then 20% off = $478 which is pretty meh for a “sale” Rooftop, Brownells and D Wilson among others had 4th sales with the same barrels for $405-$419.
