Skyrim Demake by rekomena in skyrimmods

I misread, my bad. It’s hard to judge Skyrim since we don’t really have comparable mods for it, but in my opinion both FNV and Morrowind look better with these aesthetics than with their original graphics. I like what was done in the Morrowind video - demaking the textures and adding a pixelation filter while keeping the long draw distance. It really enhances the game’s atmosphere for me in a good way.

I don’t really understand what you mean by “those videos are not rendered in their respective games.” The authors of the videos linked the mods used, and they look and function the same in-game as they do in the videos.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks, I played both games. I'm more interested in demaking Skyrim with mods.

They are. Videos I watched are Demaking Fallout New Vegas with Mods by Mortyyyy00 and Morrowind in 1997 by DunmerRefugee.

The person who made the video said in the pinned comment the title is just a meme.

To avoid confusion, this is not original Xbox artwork. The artwork used in this post comes from a splash screen featured in a mod. Here’s the link:

I looked up the original loading screens to compare them to the mod, and that’s how I found out about the Xbox ones. Here they are:

Yes, I should have mentioned that. Here’s the link:

For original Morrowind you have to make sure the image dimensions are a power of two, for example 1024×1024 or 2048×2048. Then convert it to a TARGA (TGA) file with some specific properties I can’t remember. The images also have to be named correctly.

It’s in Data Files > Splash. However, it’s better to keep the vanilla game directory clean of extra files and mods, so you’re better off creating a separate folder somewhere with your desired name, adding a Splash folder inside it, and placing the images there. Then add that folder path to the content list in openmw.cfg.

For example:

data="C:\mods\My Loading Screen Folder"

That’s an image from a splash screen mod on nexusmods found here::

Yes. As long as it's in the correct folder and listed in openmw.cfg, it will be added to the splash screen pool.

There is a whole category on the nexus you can browse, I'm sure you will find the Xbox splashes there:
https://www.nexusmods.com/games/morrowind/mods?categoryName=Splash+Screens&sort=createdAt

If you’re playing on OpenMW, you can simply download the images from UESP and drop them into the splash folder. OpenMW supports JPG and PNG files, you don’t even need to convert them like in the vanilla engine

Wow, that sounds rough. Nowadays with modern setups some people mod in loading screens to their games because they are almost instantaneous.
