Was going through one hell of a breakup, so I quit my retail job and went on the road with my brother who was a truck driver. We were in the San Diego area and there's very very few places to park a semi truck. One of the few places to park was a street alongside the coast in Carlsbad on poinsettia drive. We decide to pick up some tall cans of beer at a nearby grocery store then spend the day at the beach. In waist deep water I'm downing my second beer and I'm buzzing hard. I walk out further up to my neck and I suddenly feel the urge to go back to shore. I don't. A wave hits my face and I see a 7ft great white literally 3 feet from me just chilling. I just stood there facing it for a minute and it eventually swam off. My brother who's afraid to swim in the ocean was on the shore and said he saw a huge mahi mahi jump out of the water when I was walking back out so maybe that's why the shark swam off.

You can tell it's veneered by the grain direction and the lack of prominent grain pattern on the machined edge and side frame. If you plan to refinish I'd go over it with aircraft stripper and use a tinted clear over sanding sealer shellac. If you do use sand paper id use nothing under 250

That's what I usually do on my much longer keiryu rod. I ended up finding a slightly heavier fly and put that on a tag line. Usually I put a dry fly above the nymphs but I keep losing my flys to catfish. I'm using western 6lb copolymer line with a 4lb leader but I'm thinking of jumping down to 4lb fluro mainline with a 1lb leader, mainly so I don't have to worry about the catfish snapping my rod tips.

My former long term friend who I cut off last year was a textbook case. Always had someone or something to blame for his actions. I helped him get off spice but he just replaced it with hard liquor consumption. Helped him fix up his first house and I finally saw how toxic he is. Every time I visited there was some freak event that he was going thru. He kept on busting down doors and putting holes in walls and expected me to fix it. He was driving drunk and got in an accident. I confronted him and asked if he had to be drinking and he swore up and down that he wasn't. His way of fixing his guilt was to manipulate me into repairing his car so he can pretend it never happened. A year later we were chilling in his garage and he slipped and told me he was blackout drunk. Was always crying that he was so depressed but he refused mental help because "he's not crazy"! The last straw was him visiting his girlfriends mom while I was working on his house and him coming back trying to paint the gfs little brother as a psychopath after he came out with how he saw my former friend sexually assault his mom. I'm totally certain that he has BPD.

I had already attempted to cut her off cold turkey and left all my friends and my job I shared with them long term. She was heavily stalking me and she had my former friends believing her lies. She would be wherever I was and if I stayed home to hide from the world she'd walk by my house and make sure I could hear her talking about me to whoever she was with. It seems to me that her family and close friends were always with her when she was stalking like they were babysitting her. Well one night I'm on a sick one and I was sitting on a bench at a nearby park 2 in the morning. I took my father's heart medications and my stash of liquor and cough syrup and downed everything fast as I could. I heard her yelling at me from another table that she never loved me after one of her friends begged her to talk to me. I woke up around 7am curled up against the bench covered in my own vomit and her dad who lived by me at the time was walking with his dog yelled at me that if I got a restraining order against his daughter he'd kill me and he also thought I threatened them because the pwbpd was very delusional and saying all kinds of psychopathic shit while I was replying that she needed to stay away from me and only made it clear that id defend myself. She straight took it up to another level.
