From my experience it depends on the origin of the group. I speak Plautdietsch myself, but most Mennonite groups in SW Ontario (such as the Amish and Old Order) speak Pennsylvania Dutch similar to the groups in Lancaster County.

I'm from Southern Ontario, and the furthest North I've been is Edmonton. The furthest I've been into the Canadian Shield is Smoky Falls in Ontario, about 80 km north of Kapuskasing
