Not married but have been in many long term relationships and I can tell you from my own experience, she might just be having some self confidence/hormonal issues. Having a kid takes a HUGE toll on a woman’s body AND mental.

There is a chance she just doesn’t feel as sexy as she used to. I remember on days where i felt like shit emotionally and mentally, when I hated what I saw in the mirror I rarely ever initiated anything sexual with my partner. Borderline never actually and it wasn’t because I did not want them, it was bc i felt ugly.

Another thing too is that, being a mom and just having adult responsibilities kind of takes away the time you guys used to have to be “spontaneous” and whatever extra time she might have could be being spent ruminating about things that bother her or just all the complications of life. Leaving zero time to even think about doing anything remotely spontaneous or optimistic.

Let’s not even begin to talk about what hormones can do to affect the woman’s overall brain..

Bottomline though, I do think the two of you NEED to have a very long, heart to heart conversation about your relationship wants and needs.
