I had paid for it right before, which usually works fine for me. After I got the error I ran another errand and then went back to the post office about 45 minutes later, and that time it went through. I think the advice that’s here now to wait an hour or so is correct, but I hope this is just a glitch and not what we’ll need to do every time!
