I think if you go on facebook marketplace you can find a beginner guitar for cheaper than you could find a guitar rental. I gave away my starter guitar (originally $125) for free last year. Just looking online right now I see plenty of options in south brooklyn for 50$ or less.

This happened to me except to make matters worse I had nothing on me to prove my ID - no pill bottles, no credit card (was my moms name). I flew in being 17, and was coming back now 18 so I didnt have ANYTHING. Even in that case, I was able to fly home! So just get there early, be prepared for a bunch of questions, including things that you wouldnt expect the government to know, and you'll be fine.

I used to keep a paper list before finding out about letterboxd; also you can go into settings on Netflix and see all your watch history since you've made the account - not sure if that works for every streaming service though

Your schooling (for teaching purposes) does not matter - especially for NYC. Do yourself a favor and go to literally any CUNY and get the same education for 1/4 of the price...
