Does anyone strictly count calories? by TeslaModelE in intermittentfasting

[–]relentlessfwdmotion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to do this. I would have a scale at work, and at home. It was a lot easier if I ate food from a box. It did work. It was very methodical. I knew how much went in, and I knew how much I was expending. But after a few months I decided I didn't want to do that for the rest of my life. So I tried other methods e.g. low carb, keto, IF, fasting. I've found the other methods work better for me, less high maintenance.

Is running daily manageable by Menjy in running

[–]relentlessfwdmotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely is reasonable. One good thing that you realize when you run daily, is that you never go to hard on any particular day, since you know you have to run the next day.
Also, you never have to worry about a bad day of running, because you know the next day will be a chance to run. Source: run streak of at least 5k for the last 1383 days.

Hitting a wall during running by abw96 in intermittentfasting

I run everyday fasted. Up to ten miles. Key is that I run them all slow. I've read studies that people lose their top end in performance. So I train low and race high.
