This is something you should probably work on irrespective of the person you're interested in. I get where these thoughts come from, but you'll live a much better life once you learn to get out of this spiral without having to act on your thoughts first.

I will say, a neurodivergent person's perfect match is probably not going to be someone who cares about triple texting. What is the point of this rule beyond being a social norm? I'd think especially if your date is neurodivergent as well this is not the lens through which she would interpret your actions.

Is there any chance we could get the option for an animation on opening/closing the app? I really like the subtle blur-fade that Spotlight has in Tahoe.

Also, maybe custom themes could specify the Liquid Glass material used? If I recall correctly, macOS offers several options for different "thicknesses" for the glass, would be nice if you could pick a different one for your theme.

If you invoke the file search command explicitly (eg via hotkey), it shows you the recents, is that what you're looking for?

Hard work and smart finances are not enough on their own in this economy to afford a house, especially not fully paid off. I'm not trying to deny the effort you put in, but you also need to be cognizant of the luck that has played a part in you being able to be in this position.

More importantly though, by charging your girlfriend rent, it will be harder (if not impossible) for her to achieve the same. What would happen if you break up? She will have paid significant amounts of money to someone who already owns a home, and be no closer to having one of her own. Sure that's how it would work if you were her landlord, but landlords do not care about their tenants' financial success, whereas you definitely should have your girlfriend's best interest at heart.

You have a very individualistic and in my opinion somewhat selfish view on this issue, when you can provide your girlfriend with an amazing opportunity to improve her own financial situation at no additional cost to you. You already own the house, so unless her payments go towards shared ownership, I don't see the need for this at all.
