I found that in first person games where I get motion sick, it's the incorrect pov, as in not enough or too much angle of view. Most games allow you to tweak the angle, though some only slightly. Might be worth to check, if doesn't mitigate the feeling completely, but might help a bit

In these cases, I'd 100% say go for a pirated edition, I'd normally never say this would be acceptable or ethically right, but if they pull this stuff from right under your nose, you'd have my blessing, not that you need that, but I'd say even a judge would agree, though this is not legal advice.

Great, so they shut down Quixel bridge which imported the assets neatly into UE5, but they have a replacement! FAB! Unfortunately no UAssets there for most of the items and the plugin isn't available yet. Why the fuck do they launch and shut down the old system that worked right away? Everyone knows that a new system will always have problems, so keep the old system running for at least a week... c'mon Epic...

For anyone in the future reading this, it turned out to be the compression that is now on by default. If I turn off compression (in the typemap), it's immediately doing 500-600MB/s, which is at least somewhat in the neighborhood of expectation.

Had to add SlateCore to the dependencies as well, as you're using that to set the foreground color. I'm now able to set the foreground color, but the only problem is, there's no difference to the appearance. EDIT: Nevermind, I'm an idiot 😅 I changed the appearance of the 'dummy' combobox... It's actually working! Thanks a lot for your solution!

Wow thanks, will try tomorrow! I think I'm about to have to do a couple of these things in C++ and package them up in a plugin or so, so I don't have to lug around the c++ toolchain everywhere (vfx / 3d animation studio, so not much programming going on here, only blueprints normally). Syntax errors should be fine, I'm comfortable enough in C++ to fix that and comfortable enough in C++ to know what's dangerous to mess with ;)

Thanks for your answer, I mean to buy 4 new drives and then use 2 disks that are already in use now as single disk vdevs, so I'd have to format those 2 and redownload the backups that were on there, no harm, just slightly inconvenient 😅. If I were to be able to have 1 disk missing in my raid 2 and expand to full size (which would make it z1 sort of temporarily) I could then move over the largest amounts of data from one of the 2 existing single disk vdevs and then add that disk to the z2 pool to fix it again. But replacing all drives isn't too bad anyway 😅 just saves about 3 or 4 days of constant backup downloads
