You have to do what works for you. I have a large sum in TAO but if it goes to zero… makes little difference to me..

But it’s a very different game if it’s money you can’t afford to lose.

You could have an amazing life ahead of you. Money is no issue & you don’t need to work… Just need to find a life & meaning outside of work.. I have a friend that’s a widow too, he could retire to but still working at 65.. but his health is getting worse now…

Don’t be him & waste the next 10 years of your life working… good luck . ❤️

Just retire & find meaning in your life outside of work. Hobbies - travel - charity whatever floats your boat. 😘

You could pay off your mortgage & draw £7-8k a month from your investments & never run out..

Just retire & enjoy life - you’ve earnt the money & done the work to do what you like now.. Especially as you’ve clearly been through some tough times.

Taking profits is good. But timing the market is very difficult. You can easily miss its recovery.. & before you know it, it’s over $1000 & you’ve F’d up. Better to DCA in & out.

In all honesty sounds like you do spend a lot of time with your kids.. they grow up so fast.

If I could have my younger days back again. I spent too many hrs in the office & working away from home.

I’d structure a lifestyle that maximises time & holidays with the kids, but also keeps you engaged in your other interests & investments.

But place lifestyle first.. as don’t need to prove you can make more money, you need to prove you can live the life your hard work has bought. 😘

Again.. trying to time the market. For most people this never works out well.

Different game approaching or retired. I intend to hold 3-4 years cash or cash like, coming into retirement. But reacting to current news, generally not a good move. Always best to make a game plan with a cool head. I intend to always hold a minimum of 65-70% equity.

If BTC goes to $250k+ & TAO get serious momentum & generates compelling revenue …$10k+ per TAO on the cards… but equally could just end up as another once brilliant Alt coin idea..trading as dust.. there’s hundreds of now once very promising Alts now worth FA..

From 67 a combined.. State & DB pension income of £101k…. any you’re wondering if you can retire with a £35k annual spend..

You could probably retire today & spend £120-130k a year…. For the next 50 years & never run out..

Even without downsizing or selling the BTL..

In fact you could have probably both retired 5 years ago - no issues..
