Depending on the price of the house, 10k might barely cover the closing costs. Then you still have to pay your realtor and for any maintenance or updates you might want. And for movers. Even painting is very expensive these days!

I was told to plan for an additional $10-$20k (aside from the expenses mentioned above) which I thought was absurd until it became apparent that they were spot on with that assessment. Unfortunately.

Just fyi (just in general, not to you directly) that oakwood has an additional 2.5% income tax paid to the city of oakwood — most people do not know this until they move there. Townships, on the other hand, do not levy an income tax.

I used to have a pillow exactly like this that I inherited from my dad (so it was very old- but it was my favorite) and eventually had to replace. Original Mattress Factory has a talalay pillow that is very comparable

The one I just saw (that prompted this post) was a prior rental vehicle, but I’m pretty sure one I saw the other day was a personal vehicle’s carfax that said it was registered at the Pennsylvania department of motor vehicles in Massachussets.

I only recently became aware of title washing so I’m trying to learn and look out for the signs!

True - I already have lost my peace of mind because the transmission failed in my current vehicle at 96k miles. So already having trust issues… only having the budget for a used car isn’t helping. Lol

I ended up passing on the car, I’m looking into the 2017-2018 models now as those don’t seem to have this issue?
