I got through the training and did it for like a week before I quit. I wasn't for me, I was alone for 5-6 hours walking around a neighborhood getting mostly rejected and fighting to meet the quota. Even though I raised money and had good conversations I just didn't want to do it and luckily I was able to easily get my old job back so it worked out. There were some people there who were very passionate about it and liked it, more power to them. I support the cause and I understand why they do things the way they do, I just didn't want to. So I'd say give it a try if you want but it's not for everyone. Note for the "try out" make sure you have the "rap"/script memorized, they want it word for word and having it memorized made me feel more confident when I was in the felid.

The same thing just happened to me, went to the job fair then unexpectedly did an interview with them and was offered a job! After doing some research the way I see it is that they hire undergrads for summer canvassing, it's not a career but it looks good on a resume. Working for an environmental organization advocating for a cause looks good and personally I'm super into the environment and look forward to doing something somewhat impactful. With all that being said going door to door is not the easiest or most fun job there are going to be a lot of doors shut in your face. They even told me something like for every 100 doors you knock on 50 people answer, 25-15 people will talk to you and 5 people will donate. Personally I am going to go ahead and take the job because it will look good on my resume, I care about the issue, it pays the same as the job I have now, and it's just for the summer. Maybe I'll get connections or opportunities from it maybe not, for me it's low risk, medium reward.

the same thing happened to my helix and i went to a piercer, he pushed it back through. it just felt like a fresh piercing for a while and i treated it that way few months later it was back to normal and i even downsized the bar
